Infection Control Nurse Training, Ethiopia

Australian Doctors for Africa provided a 5 day Nurses Infection Control Training seminar in Ethiopia, to 29 nurses at Hawassa and ALERT Hospitals. Somaliland Orthopaedics Training

Donated Medical Equipment

Huge thanks to the teams at the Mount Hospital and Murdoch University (Mandurah Campus) for donating recently retired medical equipment, including resuscitators, patient chairs, vital signs monitors, BP monitors and supply storage cabinets. Volunteer Medical Teams Back in Madagascar!

After a 3-year hiatus, we are thrilled that medical volunteers are back on the move!    A Gastroenterology team of five, including Dr Digby Cullen, Cath Poole, Jacki Crock, Dr Sherman Picardo and Hib Tadlip, headed off to Madagascar for two weeks to train and equip Malagasy gastroenterology doctors and nurses.
