Massive thanks to dedicated volunteers – Graeme Wilson (Board Member) and Lions Club of Claremont-Nedlands members, Lex Thomson, Leo McManus, Paul Wyndham (excellent scribing again Paul!), Steve Andrews, Jim Davies, John Barnett, Andrew Porteous and Jack Slater – for packing two sea containers last week with donated medical equipment and supplies, destined for our programs and partner hospitals in Tulear and Antananarivo, Madagascar.
Equipment included hospital beds and mattresses, Endoscopy, Urology and ENT equipment, a pallet of gloves (thanks Ansell), surgical linen and scrubs (thanks Karen Grieves), wheelchairs, nurses trolleys, surgical instruments and supplies, and much more.
Huge thanks to John Ward, Michael Clegg and the team at Australian Wool Handlers (AWH) for their incredible support and assistance throughout the year.
