Australian Doctors for Africa provided a 5 day Nurses Infection Control Training seminar in Ethiopia, to 29 nurses at Hawassa and ALERT Hospitals.

The training includes hand hygiene; standard precautions; sterilising, care and maintenance of instruments; prevention of fracture related infections; and environmental sanitation of an operating theatre.

Huge thanks to our two Ethiopian experienced presenters, Eyerusalem Amanu and Wondimagegn Tilahun, for providing excellent training on behalf of ADFA.
