Dr Tony Jeffries, orthopaedic surgeon, and Victoria Gibson, theatre nurse, travelled to Hossana, Ethiopia to provide orthopaedic training and mentoring at the Wachemo University Nigist Eleni Mohammed Memorial Referral Hospital.  The team participated in daily morning meetings, ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and 3 major surgeries.

A major focus was tutorial-style teaching sessions with 8 trainee Orthopaedic Surgeons on upper limb topics, and peri-operative training for nurses.

Eyerusalem Amanu, in-country trainer, accompanied the team and presented the Nurses Infection Control Training to 12 nurses (F7 / M5).
