With the help of amazing volunteers – Graeme (our logistics guru), Claire, Helen, Dermot, Sean, David, Sarah, James, Hunter and David – we moved 48 hospital beds from Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital to storage.  Huge thanks to Paul, Jacqui, Dean and the SCGH team for arranging the donation and helping out on the day.

There is great need for beds in East African hospitals, and Australian Doctors for Africa can get them there.  Planning for our 69th sea container is underway.  Most of these beds will be donated to the MAS Hospital, a new children’s hospital in Hargeisa, Somaliland.

Thanks to the team at AWH in Bibra Lake for generously providing pro bono storage space.
