Ambassador Doyle recently represented Australian Doctors For Africa (ADFA) in donating over 80,000 personal protective equipment (PPE) from ADFA to the Black Lion Hospital in the presence of the Chief Executive Director of the College of Health Sciences Dr Dawit Wendimagegn and Dr Biruk Lambisso, Head of Orthopaedic Dept, Black Lion Hospital.

The PPE will be distributed to frontline health workers at the Black Lion Hospital in Addis Ababa and other 8 major hospitals around Ethiopia.

Ambassador Doyle acknowledged the wonderful work of Ethiopia’s health professionals in responding to COVID-19 and the work of Australian Doctors for Africa in supporting local hospitals and healthcare workers across Africa.
