ADFA presented a two day Gender, Leadership and Resilience Seminar in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia as part of its Female Orthopaedic Empowerment Program.   20 young female doctors from Addis Ababa and regional areas, gathered to share the challenges and the successes of their lives in medicine.  Huge thanks to seminar facilitator Dr Emebet Bekele, a Vice President at the Hawassa University, for her inspiring and insightful presentations.

Congratulations and thanks to Dr Ananya Kassahun, ADFA Ethiopia Project Consultant, for arranging the seminar and progressing this mentoring program for women in medicine in Ethiopia.

The FOE program is supported by a Direct Aid Program grant from the Australian Embassy in Ethiopia, and implemented by ADFA.
