The third volunteer Gastroenterology team for the year, of Dr Digby Cullen, Dr Niroshan Muwanwella, Ms Nicolle Harrison and Ms Zara Webb-Martin, ran a surgical program and training in four cities in Madagascar over two weeks.

Traveling extensively, the team worked tirelessly to complete 155 clinical consultations and 117 surgical procedures, and provide training to 27 doctors, nurses and technicians.

Huge thanks to generous donations of equipment and supplies from Boston, Cook and Olympus which ensured the success of this trip.
