Australian Doctors for Africa Welcomes New Board Members

Further PPE Support for Somaliland

Australian Doctors for Africa recently provided a large quantity of PPE and equipment to Hargeisa Group Hospital (HGH) to further assist with the COVID-19 epidemic. Madagascar Clubfoot Clinics Continue to Care for Children

Our Madagascar clubfoot clinic staff have continued to work hard and keep the clinics running to provide treatment to children born with clubfoot.  In the 12 months to 30 June 2021 the clinics treated 141 children, changing the lives of the children and their families and ensuring a lifetime free from disability. Anaesthesia Machines Donated for Ethiopia

Huge thanks to Natalie Taylor, CEO/Director of Nursing at Subiaco Private Hospital for donating two, decommissioned Datex-Ohmeda Aespire Anaesthesia Machines. The machines are in excellent working order and will make a big difference at two rural hospitals in Ethiopia, and improve health services to people in need. On-line Orthopaedics Training Continues

Australian Doctors for Africa presented a remote 2½ hour session on Upper Limb Orthopaedics and Trauma at the Ethiopian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (ESOT) Annual Scientific Meeting held last month in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. 200 people attended in person and remotely from all around Ethiopia, and feedback on ADFA’s session was very positive.
