Opening of Orthopaedic Renovations at Cenhosoa Hospital, Madagascar
Australian Doctors for Africa was pleased to partner with the Australian Ambassador to Madagascar, HE Ms Jenny Dee for the inauguration of the renovated Orthopaedics and Traumatology Ward of the Centre Hospitalier de Soavinandriana (Cenhosoa) in the Madagascan capital, Antananarivo on 7 June 2019. Last week a band of wonderful volunteers packed two 40ft sea containers with donated medical equipment and supplies, bound for hospitals in Harar, Ethiopia and Hargeisa, Somaliland. These shipments are part of our infrastructure program which provides equipment for the renovation projects currently taking place in these two cities.
