Volunteer Orthopaedic surgeons, Dr Graham Forward (and ADFA CEO) and Dr Michael Wren travelled to Ethiopia as part of a large training faculty for two orthopaedic training courses for 1st and 4th year residents, held over 6 days in Addis Ababa.  ADFA Ethiopian Patron and Olympic/World Champion running, Haile Gebreselassie, visited and gave an inspiring talk.

Graham also went to Hargeisa, Somaliland to support an orthopaedics operating team and to attend the first meeting of the Somaliland Orthopaedics Society.

In October, a Gastroenterology team, led by Dr Digby Cullen, will travel to Madagascar for two weeks, and 2023 team travel plans are well underw
