Massive thanks to the ProtoSpace team at the University of Technology Sydney for donating 510 face shields to our COVID-19 support program in East Africa.

Led by interns Isaac Garcia and Stuart Kirkwood, a team of “COVID-19 Student Responders” designed and 3D printed hundreds of face shields which were tested using state of the art equipment in ProtoSpace’s advance manufacturing facility.

The face shields will be sent to Madagascar, Ethiopia, Somaliland and Comoros with much needed N95 and 3 ply surgical masks.

Australian Doctors for Africa is committed to supporting frontline healthcare workers in East Africa during the COVID-19 health crisis and beyond.
