The finished renovation at Hargeisa Group Hospital looks amazing – what an improvement, especially the operating theatre! The enhancements will provide a safe, clean environment for the orthopaedics department and improve medical care for Somaliland people in need.

The project involved repairs to inside and outside walls, leaking roof, ceilings, walls, lights and air conditioner in theatre, storage unit for CSSD, new wash basins, and repairs to toilets and floor tiles.

“On behalf of Taakulo, I would like to appreciate ADFA’s assistance to our people here in Somaliland. This generous assistance has always a positive impact on Somaliland people and Taakulo is delighted for partnered with Australian Doctors for Africa”, said Mr Ilyas Osman, Operations Manager.
Thank a million to our trusted, long time partner, Taakulo Somali Community, for efficiently managing the project. See video here from Taakulo.
