Home | News | Two Containers of Medical Equipment for Somaliland

Australian Doctors for Africa recently purchased and delivered a 20ft sea container of 43 beds, cots, examination tables, delivery beds and instrument trolleys for Hargeisa Group Hospital, Diversity Action Network (DAN) and Beerwayso Rural Clinic.

A 40ft sea container full of donated medical equipment also arrived from Perth containing 32 hospital beds and mattresses, 4 examination tables, wheelchairs, gloves, resuscitators, masks, autoclave, an Ophthalmic surgical microscope, and much more.

Thanks to our partner, Taakulo Somali Community, for customs clearance, transport and delivery to Hargeisa Group Hospital, Edna Adan Hospital, DAN and Beerwayso.  Huge thanks to equipment donors, including St John of God Subiaco Hospital, Bentley Hospital and Ramsay Health Care (Peel).
