Another team of medical volunteers visited Toliara, Madagascar recently for a two week assignment.
Huge thanks to Dr Taro Okamoto (Orthopaedic Surgeon), Dr Andrea Atkinson (Obstetrics & Gynaecology Surgeon), Kelly Lee (Nurse) and Cherrie Genat (Logistics) for volunteering your time and for your dedication in helping people in need.
The team completed 143 consultations, 22 surgical procedures, including 4 children, and twice daily ward rounds.
