Huge thanks to the Urology team of volunteers from Ballarat, Perth & ChileDr Richard McMullin (Urologist), Dr Berni Troncoso (Paediatric Urologist), Dr Melvyn Kuan (Urologist), Dr Josh Telles (Anaesthetist) and Rhiannon Lang (Nurse) – who recently travelled to Toliara, Madagascar to provide medical services and training.

The team completed 124 consultations and 59 surgeries, including 27 children (mainly hernias), daily ward rounds, and provided training in Anaesthesiology and Urological surgery.

We acknowledge donated supplies and pharmaceuticals from the Fairmont, DeVries, BHS, BD Industries, Clinica MEDS Chile, Corporación Renal Infantile Mater, R McMullin, J Telles and Grampians Health (Ballarat).

ADFA acknowledges ongoing support for its Madagascar programs from Base Toliara, BlackEarth Minerals and St John of God Subiaco Hospital.
