Huge thanks to the volunteer Urology team of Dr Melvyn Kuan (Team Lead, Urologist), Dr Michael Wines (Urologist), and Theatre Nurses, Karen Grieves and Renee Heimgartner, who recently provided medical services and training in Toliara and Antananarivo, Madagascar.

The team completed 55 consultations, 41 surgeries, daily ward rounds, and training for 12 medical staff.  Dr Snel, a local surgeon from Antananarivo, joined the team in Toliara, and received 7 days of hands-on surgical training.

We acknowledge donated medical supplies from Coloplast, Defries Industries, Duke Medical Australia, Dr Melvyn Kuan and Dr Dani Padman.

ADFA recognises ongoing support for its Madagascar programs from Base Toliara, BlackEarth Minerals, St John of God Subiaco Hospital and Air Mauritius for extra baggage support.
