The RACS WA Surgeons Ball is just around the corner and they have had a fabulous response to date from fellows, with the event almost sold out. For those still thinking of attending, RACS WA is preparing to take you on a unique winter experience where elegant & mysterious meets spectacular, at the upcoming event to be held on Friday 23 August 2019 at Crown Towers.

Providing a rare opportunity for Fellows from across all surgical specialties to come together in a relaxed social setting, the WA Surgeons Ball also provides an opportunity for funds to be raised for a worthwhile cause, with proceeds raised from this year’s event going to Australian Doctors for Africa, a worthy global medical project founded by local WA Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mr Graham Forward. The goal for the evening is to raise funds for the Somaliland Specialist Training Program which requires at least $25,000 to cover the scholarship costs for 2 Doctors for 2 years.
